What I've built

My love affair with leather-ball cricket started in Bangalore in 2019 — the amateur circuit here is quite amazing for a working professional. After playing for a few teams, I decided to start something of my own: (UCC) United Cricket Club, founded Feb 2020. With the right people and some strong processes, it grew into something special — friendships formed, grinds turned into wins, wins turned into trophies. Step by step, we became home to a lot of quality folks — a home away from home for people passionate about cricket.

In 2026 I gave it an online presence at playwithucc.com — built to capture our journey and give meaning to our players' efforts. It has leaderboards, player profiles capturing real journeys and stories, a full history of every match we've played, and — most recently — Fantasy Cricket, where our own players get to act as managers and pick their teammates.

Today, ground owners manage all their bookings and payments over WhatsApp messages. A standard off-the-shelf OMS isn't the answer — it's expensive, and too much work to enter such simple data.

A custom-built OMS for two Bangalore grounds to manage bookings and payments directly, paired with a proper online presence — an SEO-optimized website to fetch more bookings, and a place for players to see what's happening at the ground: leaderboards, stats, upcoming events, everything and anything.
